I hope we try new things to help us grow. It's hard to grow with old restricted habits.

Overcome of worry with prayer. "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6 KJV)
Overcome fear with trust in God. "The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (Psalm 118:6 KJV)
Overcome anger with forgiveness today. "Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. (Luke 6:28 KJV)"
Overcome envy with thankfulness today. “You shall not covet ... anything that belongs to your neighbor.” (Exodus 20:17 NIV84) "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)
Overcome pride with humility. Luke 18:11, 13-14 (NIV) 11 The Pharisee prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people .. —even like this tax collector. 13 “But the tax collector .. said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ 14 “I tell you that this man [tax collector], rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Don't fear the future, God is already there. Psalm 23:4 (NIV) Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
